| The nursery is situated off Shire Lane, near Farnborough, Kent at Woodlands Farm. It is about 1½ miles from the A21 end of Shire Lane. If approaching from the A21 (having taken the no.4 exit on the M25 and followed the A21 Bromley signs) the turn-off for Shire Lane is left, just off a roundabout signposted Farnborough & Downe, turn left into Shire Lane 30 yards after taking this left turn off the roundabout. After passing North End Lane on the left watch out for a white-painted house with tall chimneys where you turn right into the entrance for Woodlands Farm. The three sales houses are now open at weekends and every weekday except Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 10.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m., but if you are planning to visit the nursery please phone beforehand to avoid disappointment, in case I am at a show or elsewhere.
