Aloe herreoensis (Picture 721)

Aloe herreoensis is distributed in the dry regions of the north of South-Africa and Namibia and Angola where it grows as single rossette but sometimes divided in more heads.

This picture was taken on October 3rd,1996 near Sendelingsdrift in South Africa. The rossettes are about 20 cm and they flower from June untill August with yellow or red flowers. The leaves are narrow and long with greyish/green surface.
